Will Kirby

Will is an Extension Programme Manager at MATS London, where he supports fellows’ research and professional development and oversees programme delivery. Previously, he worked on the UK AI Security Institute’s Alignment team, building and running the Alignment Project’s grant pipeline and organising an alignment research conference.

Before moving into AI safety, Will worked in investment management and early-stage investing, and founded and ran Brook House Hops, a hop-growing and supply business in Herefordshire. He studied Social and Political Science at the University of Cambridge.
