Fred Parkwood

Fred is a Research Manager at MATS London, where he is excited to support fellows with their short-term projects and longer-term professional development. In his ten-year actuarial career, he built statistical risk frameworks, communicated technical analysis to busy executives, and scaled up an insurance pricing team to quantify £billions of liabilities every month. Fred studied Materials Science at Oxford University (2010-2014), where he researched techniques to improve the quality of silicon wafers. (edited)
