Jason Green-Lowe

Jason is a research manager at MATS, where he helps scholars pursue research that suits their skills and interests. He particularly enjoys helping scholars improve the impact of their policy and governance research. Before joining MATS, Jason led the Center for AI Policy (CAIP), which lobbied Congress to pass strong AI safety legislation. He has also worked as a legal compliance counselor and as a product safety litigator, giving him a firsthand view of how laws are (and are not) applied in everyday situations. Jason holds a JD from Harvard Law and a BA in Political Science from Yale University.
