I've worked at OpenAI for 2 years, initially as a technical policy researcher, and now on the national security policy team, where I've led our engagement with the CAISI, the UK AISI, the Frontier Model Forum, and helped write our updated Preparedness Framework, along with various smaller projects. I previously wrote my CS PhD thesis on mechanisms for enabling verification of claims related to national security on large-scale AI training, and prior to that was at Schmidt Futures.
