Jacob Pfau

Jacob Pfau is a research scientist at UK AISI and PhD student at NYU where he works on scalable oversight. His recent work has covered monitorability of chain of thought, alignment safety cases, and robust reinforcement learning. Current interests include: scalable oversight methods and evaluation; and modelling automation of alignment research.
