Policy Development & Strategy Manager
Séb Krier is currently a Policy Development & Strategy Manager at Google DeepMind, specializing in the intersection of research and strategy to shape Google DeepMind's policies on frontier AI governance issues. Before joining DeepMind, he served as a Senior Technology Policy Researcher at Stanford University’s Cyber Policy Centre. Earlier, Séb advised various governments and organizations on AI policy and governance. His involvement in AI policy started at the UK Government’s Office for Artificial Intelligence in 2018. In the earlier stages of his career, Séb practiced law at international law firms, including Bryan Cave Leighton Paisner and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. He holds a Masters in Public Administration from UCL and a Law degree from King's College London.
